Where's the rice? In this week's That's News to Me lessons featuring content from The Associated Press, students learn about the soaring cost of rice in Japan and reasons for the shortage. Each lesson (Low Int, Int, Adv) includes a warm-up video and a speaking task.

Teach the first five family words using the early production technique, which focuses on repetition and listening. In addition to five family words, students learn to identify and print the letter "r." A digital version is available for extra practice.
